Decadent Chocolate Chip Cheesecake

Preheat oven to 350F/180C. In a small bowl mix wafer crumbs and butter. Press firmly into 9 inch springform pan.
Filling:
In a large bowl, using an electric mixer, beat cream cheese and sugar until very smooth. Beat in eggs one at a time, until just blended. Beat in sour cream and vanilla. Stir in chcolate chips. Pour into pan. Banke at 350F for 50 minutes. Cool completely on wire rack, chill overnight.
Glaze:
Just before serving bring cream to simmer over low heat. Add chocolate and stir until smooth. Pour glaze over top of cake.
Variation:
Use one pkg/225g of white chocolate chips instead of pkg/300ml of chocolate chips.
